Baby Clothes

I got a little package in the mail from my grandmother yesterday. That in and of itself is not unusual, she often sends me little notes or a package of candy. That's just how she is...she loves to get little gifts for people, and since I'm not around to receive them in person, she ships them to me. So, when I opened my little package last night, I was expecting more of the same. But it wasn't! It was the most adorable little NB outfit, with little ducks all over it. So sweet! She said it was so we could get all our ducks in a row...

Well, anyway, as soon as I opened it and realized what it was I clutched it to my chest and burst into tears. I felt utterly ridiculous, but I couldn't help it! It was classic Gramma Honey, and just made me miss her all the more and drove home (again) that I really am having a baby and now I have my very first--anything!--for the baby, and it was just too much. So I called her, sobbing, to thank her and she just said "Go ahead and cry honey, 'cause sometimes we just need to." I've decided it's what I want to dress the baby in when I bring him/her home from the hospital, in honor of my Gramma.
